A change management expert, Frauke specialises in strategy and organisational structure and design, as well as processes and operating models. She focuses in particular on the ‘people’ part of successful change management.
Frauke believes that change projects come to life when participants share a holistic vision of the project and its outcomes, and are committed to that vision throughout the whole change life-cycle. She focuses on cementing that commitment through strong stakeholder management, through empowering key change agents, and through a participative, user-centred approach to generating concepts. She enjoys working with clients to develop innovative, forward-looking solutions to challenges.
Before she joined MartinJenkins in May 2018, Frauke worked for a leading public and not-for-profit consulting firm in Germany across a broad range of assignments. Her experience includes organisational diagnostic work, structural design and advice on change, as well as managing some large programmes. She has had experience across a range of sectors and industries, with a particular emphasis on central and local government and the not-for-profit sector.
Some of the projects in which Frauke has played a central role include:
Managing a two-year project for the Food, Beverages and Catering Union aimed at improving organisational design and service delivery. The project team focused on a value chain analysis, service level analysis, benchmarking against best practices, and, on the basis of that work, designing new operating models.
Acting as designated change officer for the reform of the Cologne city administration, which affected eight city departments and 19,000 employees over five years, and included roughly 150 projects a year
Supporting a service delivery redesign for the German Social Democratic Party’s Berlin headquarters, to improve its performance as a service provider to both regional offices and individual members
Supporting the design and implementation of a new operating model for Germany’s United Services Trade Union, which has roughly two million members and 3,000 employees.
Frauke has a Master of Science (Honours) degree in Strategy, Innovation and Management Control from the University for Economics and Business in Vienna, Austria. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Mannheim, Germany.
