A creative at heart, Olivia works with organisations to develop strategies, design operating models, and create out-of-the-box solutions that help them to grow, achieve their goals and be great places to work
With a background in HR, Olivia has a strong track record working with leadership and project teams to shape vision, provide technical advice, and influence cultural change. Her experience, covering both public and private-sector clients, includes large organisational change, end-to-end implementation of new technologies, change management, and data analysis.
Born and bred in Hawkes Bay, Olivia is Ngāti Kahungunu and Ngāti Pāhauwera. She joined MartinJenkins in early 2020, bringing a diverse background that, as well as tikanga Māori, includes youth development and work with religious organisations.
Working with Olivia, you will see her genuine, people-first approach, her contagious enthusiasm, and her creative problem-solving in action. With her strong interpersonal and adaptive communication skills, she’s able to successfully convey technical information to diverse stakeholders.

Te Tumu Paeroa (Māori Trustee), Operating Model Review and Design – Olivia supported the client’s review of their operating model and the design of a new model and organisational structure. Drawing on her strong grounding in tikanga, she led the functional design and supported organisational design through to transition, including advising on its supporting initiatives.
Te Tumu Paeroa, Organisational and Leadership KPI Setting –Olivia set key performance metrics for the leadership team and supported the development of organisational key performance metrics. She collaborated with the internal project team to align organisational and leader KPIs with the strategy, objectives, and ministerial expectations under the new operating model. She worked closely with the client to ensure leaders’ individual KPIs were relevant and that the right mechanisms were in place for them to be achieved.
Whānau Manaaki Kindergartens Association, Reviews of Operating Model and Process & System Efficiency – Olivia was part of a team that reviewed the operating model of this client, a not-for-profit experiencing rapid growth through the amalgamations of other kindergarten associations. Olivia supported the gathering of insights and she developed the review documentation. The review identified process and system inefficiencies as major limitations to growth, and Olivia led a time and motion study across the head office to develop insights to support a digital transformation of the association.
Olivia also holds an Agile Talent ICP-TAL certification.
