Janet is an experienced manager with a knack for finding a clear path through any challenge.

Before joining MartinJenkins in 2015, Janet held corporate management roles in infrastructure, legal and public service organisations. She brings excellent planning and organisational skills to the core of our company.

Janet has a strong track record in running service firms, ensuring the IT, financial, communications and people management systems we rely on are operating at their optimum. As well as broad expertise in business administration and improvement, she brings with her considerable experience building stakeholder relations in demanding contexts.

Janet has previously held roles with the council controlled trading organisation Wellington Water, as well as with a Wellington law firm, the former Ministry for Economic Development and the Crown Forestry Rental Trust.

As General Manager Corporate Services, Janet is part of our executive team, supporting our drive to implement improved systems to better support our client services.

Her 15 years’ experience leading business support teams has been built on a platform of strong information management skills. That approach, with its focus on providing order to facilitate the smart use of knowledge, informs her approach to organising the fundamentals of MartinJenkins’ services.

Not only does Janet help us reach the goals we set for ourselves, she’s also very adept in her own time at route-finding. A former international competitor in orienteering events, Janet is an active explorer of our own backcountry as well as distant lands.
