Suzanne Carter

Suzanne has worked in executive leadership for most of the last 10 years. She draws on her extensive background in communications and marketing to help government agencies and businesses meet challenges and achieve their goals, especially through change and growth.

Suzanne is able to analyse situations from an eco-system perspective.  She devises creative solutions, and then successfully brings them to life and drives them to completion. 

Suzanne values professionalism, integrity and teamwork, believing two heads are always better than one. She has a long-held interest in the interconnection between business and social good.  

An experienced people leader, Suzanne is valued for her high energy and positivity and for doing the right thing. Her roles have included GM Communications and Public Education at the Earthquake Commission, Group Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility Manager for the NZ Post Group, and Head of Public Affairs for Tourism New Zealand, where she also had executive responsibility for TNZ’s 2011 delivery of the 2011 Rugby World Cup.  

Suzanne is a former Director of Transparency International New Zealand, and is still a member of the organisation.  She has an MBA from Victoria University and is a chartered member of the Institute of Directors (CMInstD).
