Suzanne Carter

Suzanne values professionalism, integrity and teamwork and has a long-held interest in the interconnection between business and social good.

Suzanne has worked in executive leadership for most of the last 15 years. As an experienced people leader, she is valued for her high energy and positivity and for doing the right thing.

Her roles have included:

  • GM Communications and Public Education at the Earthquake Commission
  • Head of Public Affairs for Tourism New Zealand, where she also had executive responsibility for TNZ’s 2011 delivery of the 2011 Rugby World Cup
  • Group Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility Manager for the NZ Post Group.

Suzanne has a Certificate in Journalism (Massey), and an MBA from Victoria University. She attended Harvard University to study Corporate Social Responsibility in 2008. She is a former Director of Transparency International New Zealand and a chartered member of the Institute of Directors (CMInstD).
