Amy is a perceptive and highly experienced policy and strategy specialist. Whether she’s advising ministers or working with rangatahi, Amy builds the relationships that are needed to bring people together and find workable solutions to problems.

A skilled policy and strategy adviser, Amy has worked across local and central government, including as a diplomat. She has provided expert advice in areas from foreign policy and trade, to transport, education, and climate change.

She is valued highly by her clients for the clarity and structure she always brings, and for her absolute dedication to their needs. Amy works closely with ministers, iwi, businesses, and community groups to develop successful responses to long-term challenges.

Amy is skilled in using “futures thinking” to help make purposeful decisions about strategy and policy today, through exploring how different drivers of change create and shape multiple potential futures.

  • Developing regulatory strategies for Waka Kotahi | NZ Transport Agency and the New Zealand Law Society
  • Working with the Ministry for the Environment’s Te Ao Māori Policy team on Māori participation in regional governance and on establishing a new National Māori Entity.
