Denise Bossert

Denise is a well-rounded financial analyst who supports decision makers in government and business with practical advice based on high-quality financial modelling and analysis.

She joined us in 2026 from Greater Wellington Regional Council, bringing a close understanding of policy and financial environments, including business cases, policy reviews, and executive reporting.

Denise is skilled in structuring complex problems and developing financial models when there’s uncertainty. She has supported multiple business areas with budgeting, forecasting, and longer-term financial planning, as well as investment and infrastructure analysis.

• Supporting the financial analysis of infrastructure and sustainability initiatives at Greater Wellington Regional Council, including energy transformation programmes and a nationwide solar grid uplift project.
• Supporting the finance workstream at GWRC, including supporting a carbon audit initiative, coordinating financial data analysis, and sustainability reporting.
• Supporting the development of business cases, including financial analysis, testing assumptions, assessing impacts, and contributing to clear advice for decision makers.
• Supporting the evaluation of GWRC organisational initiatives by working with teams to analyse and understand cost implications, risks, and trade-offs.
