Jessica Molloy

Consultant – Data Visualisation
Kaiwhiriwhiri Raraunga Ataata

Consulting

With experience spanning service design and visual communication, Jessica has a special understanding of how to improve the customer experience and achieve impact with data visualisation.

Jessica’s background includes work for design agencies in market segmentation, brand perception, strategy, and visual communication. More recently she worked in analyst and service-design roles in the public sector, where she supported a wide range of regulatory systems and policy and operational processes.

Jessica enjoys exploring the many ways people can now connect with government, and the role that thoughtful process and high-quality design can play in making government easier to understand.

Above all, Jessica loves shaping narratives and bolstering their impact though insightful content and clear language and visuals.

Examples of Jessica’s work

  • Capturing and analysing data – for example, capturing and mapping the MIQ system to help develop and improve MIQ services and operations
  • Crafting unique stories – for example, developing a compelling behaviour-based narrative, practical toolkit, and system-wide roadmap to support industry-based pastoral care
  • Distilling complex information into visuals that resonate – for example, supporting government and community initiatives with skilful use of visual design, language, iconography, graphs, and journey and process maps. This has included creating shared visual identities for joint reports, and creating compelling and impactful laid-out A3s and reports for decision makers and the public.
